We’re only a week away from finding out Abby (Megan Orie) is called Evan (Robert Buckley) or Jay (Greyston Holt) in chesapeake coast Season 5 finale, but as we continue to wait, we wonder who you I think she should choose.
Jay, teacher, Abby invited her to be her plus one for Jess (Laci J. Mailey) and David’s (Caromax) wedding. Something seems to have happened between them, and he won her over with his picture as an example of capturing the perfect moment. Still, in the ending, he admits that while he has feelings for her, he also likes the school counselor and wants to start something with her unless Abby can tell him there is hope for the two of them.
Meanwhile, Abby joked with billionaire Evan in season 5 (and danced with him at the aforementioned wedding). In the finale, when he realizes he wants to ask her out, he makes the grandest gesture: pick her up from the airport. She agreed to consider a “full date” with him. When he drives her crazy, she’s probably interested (it doesn’t hurt that he brought her daughter a dairy-free chocolate cake).
This leaves Abby with a lot to think about, but she tells her sister Brie (Emily Ullerup), “I don’t know if I want to be with any of them. I don’t know if I want to be with anyone right now.” Still, at the end of the finale, she left a voicemail for someone : “I’ve been thinking about you and I thought maybe we should give it a try.”
This Season 6 Trailer It looks like Abby and Evan will be dating, but the promotion can be deceiving. Plus, even if they do date, that doesn’t necessarily mean she’ll call or end up with him. Both proved they would be good choices and considered her daughter. Of course, for some, it might be hard to imagine Abby taking anyone seriously except Trace (Jesse Metcalf).
