Christina Hendricks Recent projects ( furnish 1908 Craftsman-style house) has become the center of an online controversy.
Previously, the good girl Actress Reveals She’s Working With Designers Linda Coopersmith of Beverly Hills organizer Renovating an old house that would otherwise be demolished — a process she’ll share with her 1.1 million Instagram followers.
Just yesterday, the 47-year-old posted a walkthrough of some of the newly completed home improvement Project on Instagram.
Excited Hendricks revealed stunning new bathrooms in a post shared on September 10, including a brand new vintage-inspired tub, intricate tile floors and 20th century-style furniture.
But, to her dismay, the feedback from some has gone too far – claiming the actress “ruined an old house.”
“That old laundry photo 🤣,” one person scoffed.
“So basically you’re going to destroy this beautiful old house?” someone else asked.

After hours, rude comments piled up, Hendricks forced to fix them.
In a follow-up post, also via Instagram, Hendricks expressed shock and disappointment at how some fans responded to her facelift update.
“I’ve been lovingly bringing this home back Life After years of neglect and a 1980s makeover. I’m a true lover of old houses and their charm and have done everything I can to preserve all the old history,” she wrote in the caption.
Hendrix continued: “It breaks my heart to see someone say I’m destroying an old house. The house is going to be sold to a developer who will tear it down and install multiple units so I’m happy Able to preserve an old house from 1908.” “
Many fans expressed their support for the actress and everything she did in the comments.
“Looks great! You do a great job ignoring the nasty people. 💖,” one sweet fan reminded the two decorators.
“Strange people. I think you put a lot of heart into this house, you could say it’s a real passion project. Thanks for sharing all the progress,” others applauded.
Another fan gave Hendrix a few words of wisdom: “Honey, what you’re doing in your new house is amazing! Every detail is exquisite and shows your taste. Don’t listen to the boring ones that love to do. Damaged reviews from people. I look forward to seeing the rest of the house. I love you!
Hendricks bought the house two years ago but didn’t start documenting the renovations until July of this year.
In a video she shared on her Instagram, she noted the task was “stressful” and joked that she wanted to create a “support group” for others who were going through the same thing because it could be “difficult”.
