Nene Leakes recently appeared in v103 Atlanta and shared her performance since Gregg Leakes tragically passed away. Nene said that she received a lot of love and support from people around her, and briefly introduced the ladies in “RHOA”.
Nene mentioned that all the ladies reached out to her, focusing on Kim Zolciak, but questioned why other ladies offered her a $200 bouquet. She also mentioned that Cynthia Bailey did not pass Gregg’s re-pass, but expressed support in her lounge a week later. After watching the viral clip, Claudia Jordan called Nene’s comments “cheesy.”
“Out of respect for Greg, I did express my condolences, but I never made it public. I never put it there or posted it,” Claudia said. “But when I heard this story, I was really excited. I was like holding on. No one owes you anything. We don’t have to spend a dollar. It has nothing to do with you, it has nothing to do with your husband.”
Talking about the flower arrangements received, Nei Nei referred to the housewife as a “dysfunctional family” and questioned why they should go in together to buy a bunch of flowers. In response, Claudia Jordan urged Nene to thank her for the love and support she received, no matter how much money she spent.
“This is such a tacky thing. Have you Googled how much it cost you?” Claudia continued. “What you said about other people, you are lucky, someone really showed up in front of you. The fact that people gather around you, I think this is a beautiful moment, so don’t spoil it.”
