ABU DHABI, 11th November, 2022 (WAM) — The Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has won two major victories at the 2022 International Hospital Federation (IHF) Awards.
Winning categories include the Kotaikin Doctors Grand Hospital Award, a hospital’s highest honor for demonstrating excellence in five categories, including quality of care, patient experience, and employee well-being, and the Ashikaga Nikken Excellence Award for Green Hospitals, honoring those who perform Hospitals that demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability.
The winners of the IHF Awards are presented at a special awards ceremony at the 45th IHF World Hospital Congress in Dubai, UAE from 9-11 November 2022.
As the most prestigious awards program honoring hospitals and medical institutions, the awards are recognized worldwide. Entries are evaluated against the most stringent criteria by a panel of experienced global healthcare experts serving on the IHF jury.

The U.S. Green Building Council has recognized Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi as one of the first hospitals in the Middle East and North Africa to use an ISO 14064 Part 1 Greenhouse Gas Tool that is certified to the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard.
