Cleveland Clinic invites leaders to share expertise at Arab Health

Physician leaders and healthcare management experts from the UAE, UK and US will share their vision for healthcare excellence at Arab Health 2023 after the Cleveland Clinic was named the second-largest hospital in the world by Newsweek.

For more than 100 years, the Cleveland Clinic has been at the forefront of medical innovation and specialty healthcare. To give more patients access to a global network of doctors and specialists, the Cleveland Clinic in London opens in 2022. It is the first Cleveland Clinic hospital in Europe and the second Cleveland Clinic to open in London, following the opening of the Cleveland Clinic’s Portland Square Outpatient Center in September 2021.

Abigail Stapleton, executive director of international strategy, who will participate in Arab Health as part of 19 Cleveland Clinic representatives, said: “Arab Health, as a global forum, is an attractive event to engage with hospitals and healthcare organizations around the world. Make connections, share knowledge and best practices, and improve patient care.”

Multidisciplinary

Another international visitor to Arab Health 2023 was neurologist Nick Losseff MD, FRCP from the Cleveland Clinic in London, who cares for patients in the hospital’s new state-of-the-art neurorehabilitation unit. Dr. Losseff said, “As is the case at the Cleveland Clinic facility, our specialists from multiple disciplines work as a ‘team of teams’ to provide individualized and comprehensive care, which is all about creating the best possible patient experience and provided in an environment designed for results.”

Will Rowberry, Chief Commercial Officer, Cleveland Clinic London, who will also be at Arab Health 2023, said: “Cleveland Clinic London is the first hospital in the UK to use advanced technologies such as pharmacy barcoding and robot-driven medication administration tracking, delivering an extra level of medication Safety of delivery. Patients and caregivers have access to state-of-the-art electronic medical records, enabling caregivers to make faster and more efficient decisions about patient care and making information about their treatment more accessible to patients.” — trade arab news agency
