Ice T’s wife Coco Austin insisted on normalizing care. She recently explained her decision to continue breastfeeding her and Ace’s 5-year-old daughter Chanel.
“Chanel still likes my breasts,” Coco told American Weekly. “This is an important bonding moment for the mother and your child.”
Coco explained that Chanel still likes to breastfeed, which seems to be an important factor in Coco’s decision to continue breastfeeding.
“Why take it from her? …If she doesn’t want it, well, that’s where you stopped it. But I won’t just say no.”
This is not the first time that Coco has treated breastfeeding as a social issue. She previously stated in an Instagram post published in March 2020 that Chanel took care of “for comfort” and explained: “Believe me, this girl likes meat, so it’s not that she didn’t eat real food. Thank you. Everyone who understands my point of view. I see that most of you are very eager to stand with me, and I am also cheering for you on your journey. Our mother is connected.”
When talking about her parenting style, breastfeeding is not the only topic Coco talks about.
Obviously, the young Chanel can also decide where she sleeps. It seems that being with her parents is her favorite.
“We call it a family bed,” Coco told us. “We have Chanel and all four dogs.”
This obviously affected Coco and Ice-T’s time alone, adding that they “cannot spontaneously anymore” in the bedroom.
Chanel obviously has no fixed bedtime and can stay up late.
“We prefer night entertainment. People have to understand that we have different times. Sometimes, I work until two in the morning. When [Ice-T’s] During the tour, he will perform at 12 o’clock in the evening. …So we transmit it in a different way. Chanel gets up at 11 o’clock in the afternoon,” she said.
But Coco added that Chanel will no longer be a night owl after starting school.
