actor columbus short He found himself back in the headlines after his arrest on Wednesday on a felony domestic violence charge. The actor was allegedly sent to jail after a verbal altercation between him and his wife. Today, the actor decided to clarify and share what happened between him and Mrs Short via a video he shared on Instagram. In the title, he explains the difficulties in marriage.
Columbus wrote: “The truth. Marriage is challenging, but getting through it is happiness! I’m not an abuser and I’m not a drug addict, but drinking makes my mouth a little bit out of pocket. It’s the truth. My wife is working on our marriage and real work with @callmemrsshort #MyApologies.” In the video, he breaks down what happened, which is slightly different from what was reported TMZ.
He detailed that it happened when he asked his wife to leave the house. Columbus said he was frustrated, grabbed her phone and scratched her hand. When the police arrived, instead of sending either party to jail, they decided to arrest him. He apologized at the end of the video. If you recall, TMZ reported that Columbus told police that his wife physically assaulted him and punched him in the face. However, he has no trace. When police spoke to his wife, they noticed “minor injuries” that didn’t require medical attention – that’s where the felony lies.
The report also showed that Columbus spent half the day in jail and was released on $50,000 bail. So far, he has not been charged with any formal charges. Roommates, what do you think of the Columbus video?
