The 6th Conference on Construction Technology (CTF) highlighted the roadmap for major developers to achieve a net-zero carbon portfolio and highlighted the role of key AEC stakeholders in decarbonizing the building lifecycle.
This year’s edition of the CTF focuses on sustainability and digital adoption for better project outcomes, in line with the UAE’s Year of Sustainability and its hosting of COP 28.
The event brought together over 600 key stakeholders and industry professionals from around the world, covering an impressive and diverse range of topics including sustainability, scaling adoption, dealing with the human factor, PMIS, ERP, digital twins , Digital Site Capture, Metaverse, AI, and more, attendees gain comprehensive knowledge and actionable strategies to navigate the industry’s evolving landscape.

“With the UAE taking center stage in the global sustainability movement, the CTF highlights the critical steps the construction industry must take to decarbonize in a structured and efficient manner,” said Katie Briggs, Events Director for b2b Connect.
Attendees include project developers, contractors, consultants, industry experts, technology providers, start-ups and key stakeholders from more than 20 countries, who gather at CTF to network, collaborate and explore new opportunities. One of the highlights of the CTF is the 2023 Construction Technology Awards on 1 June. These prestigious awards recognize and honor the best people, projects and organizations in the industry, promoting excellence in the field. With more than 200 entries in 16 different categories, the awards were highly competitive and saw the participation of more than 300 industry professionals. Recipients are recognized for their outstanding contributions and breakthrough achievements in leveraging technology to drive transformation and achieve exceptional results.
