Girl Scout Cookies have taken southeastern Louisiana by storm, and members of the East Louisiana Girl Scouts are out to support the world’s largest girls’ entrepreneurship program.
In addition to old favorites like Thin Mints, Carmel deLites, and Peanut Butter Patties, their baker has added an online-exclusive Raspberry Rally.
“We are excited that the 2023 cookie season will be the first regular season since the pandemic began,” said Girl Scouts of East Louisiana CEO Rebecca Pennington. “As always, the Southeast Louisiana community continues to support our Girl Scouts year after year, and we are thrilled that our Girl Scouts will have an opportunity with this program in 2023.”
The new online exclusive is a thin, crispy cookie infused with raspberry flavor and dipped in the same chocolate coating as Thin Mints. This will be the first product in the range exclusively for online sales and dropshipping, enhancing girls’ e-commerce selling and entrepreneurial skills.
Girl Scouts sells cookies through the Smart Cookie online platform, either direct or local. Beginning February 17, consumers can enter their zip code to buy cookies online from their local military for direct delivery or donate to local causes.Consumers can also visit a cookie finder at girlscoutcookies.org Find a local stand to buy cookies or use the Cookie Finder app.
Girl Scouts’ newly updated financial literacy badge offers a playbook for entrepreneurship for people of all ages. From a Cookie Goal Setter badge earned as Daisy to an entrepreneurial accelerator for high school girls, Girl Scout Cookie programs teach girls financial literacy, planning, budgeting, teamwork, innovative thinking and decision making.
