Coronavirus: UAE reports 1,565 Covid-19 cases, 1,508 recovered, 4 deaths-News

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 1,565 Covid-19 coronavirus cases on Saturday, as well as 1,508 recoveries and 4 deaths.

As of July 17, the total number of cases in the UAE was 659,449, while the total number of recovered people was 637,267. The death toll is now 1,896.

The UAE-based airline has announced the extension of the suspension period for several Asian and African countries.

The country’s national airline, Etihad Airways, announced on Friday that from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh Will be suspended until at least July 31.

Dubai-based Emirates also extended the suspension of round-trip flights on Friday South Africa and Nigeria until July 31.

The airline stated in an update on its website that the extension complies with the government’s directive to restrict passengers from entering the UAE from these two countries.

Also on Friday, the Abu Dhabi authorities approved general prevention and preventive measures Protect public health and community safety during Eid al-Adha.

“Use online communication platforms to extend Eid al-Fitr greetings and blessings. Avoid social gatherings and choose virtual interactions with friends and family,” they said.

“Elderly people and people with chronic diseases should limit going out as much as possible. Avoid giving gifts to children, especially money. Send money digitally to avoid bank visits.”
