Covid-19: India cancels Manchester, England test after case report-News

[ad_1]

Physical therapist Parma tested positive for the new coronavirus.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) stated that the fifth test between England and India held at Old Trafford on Friday was cancelled due to India’s inability to send a team.

An official, who asked not to be named, said that both boards of directors are discussing when the game will start.

The full statement issued by the European Central Bank stated:

After continuing the dialogue with BCCI, the European Central Bank can confirm that the fifth LV= insurance test between England and India men, which will start today at Old Trafford in the UAE, will be cancelled.

For fear of the further increase in the number of Covid cases in the camp, it is regrettable that India cannot send a team.

For this news, we sincerely apologize to our fans and partners. We know that this will bring great disappointment and inconvenience to many people.

More information will be shared in due course.

On Wednesday, after Indian physical therapist Yogesh Parmar tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the match was questioned.

“Not playing today,” commentator and former Indian goalkeeper Dinesh Karthik tweeted.

India led 2-1 in the series.
