According to data from the Federal Ministry of Health of India on Monday, as the number of people who tested positive for Covid-19 increased by 35,499, the total number of infections in India is currently 31,969,954, while the death toll has climbed to 428,309, and the new death toll is 447.

As many as 1,371,871 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the country on Sunday, bringing the total number of such tests to 481,767,232 to date.
The daily positive rate was 2.59%. The ministry stated that the positive rate in the past 14 days was less than 3%, adding that the weekly positive rate was 2.35%.
As of Monday morning, a total of 508.6 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been vaccinated in nationwide vaccination campaigns.
There were 447 new deaths, of which 151 were from Maharashtra and 93 were from Kerala.
So far, 428,309 people have died in the country, including 133,996 in Maharashtra, 36,793 in Karnataka, 34,317 in Tamil Nadu, 25,066 in Delhi, 22,773 in Uttar Pradesh, and West Benjara. 18,229 people in Bangalore and 18,229 people in Bangalore.
