From October 4th, the testing rules for travelers who receive both vaccines will be relaxed.

Shapps said: “Today’s changes mean a simpler and more direct system. A less-tested, lower-cost method that allows more people to travel, meet relatives, or conduct business all over the world, and at the same time travel Industry provides impetus.”

“Public health has always been at the core of our international travel policy. More than 8 out of every 10 adults in the UK have been vaccinated, so we are now able to introduce an updated structure that reflects the new situation.”

The countries and regions that will be removed from the “red list” are Turkey, Pakistan, Maldives, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Oman, Bangladesh and Kenya. The changes will take effect at 4 a.m. on September 22.
