[ad_1]

The new rules will take effect from 4 a.m. UK time.

According to new regulations that simplify testing and other arrangements for international travel, vaccinated travelers from the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and 14 other countries arriving in the UK from 4 a.m. UK time on Monday do not need to undergo a quarantine period.

The rules state that travelers who are fully vaccinated do not need to undergo a pre-departure test for Covid-19, nor do they need to be tested on the 8th day, nor do they need to be quarantined at home or where they will stay for 10 days after they arrive in England.

However, these passengers still need to book and participate in the second day test after arriving in England, and fill out the passenger positioning form.

Australia, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Brunei, Canada, Dominica, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan are the other countries on the list.

Starting from Monday, the original traffic light system will also be replaced by a single red list of countries and regions. There are reports that later this week, the number of countries on the red list may also decrease significantly.

Officials stated that starting from the end of October, eligible fully vaccinated passengers and those who have received approved vaccines from selected non-red country groups will be able to use cheaper lateral flow tests instead of their day 2 tests, thereby Reduce test costs. Arrived in the UK.

Officials added that starting from Monday, England will welcome fully vaccinated travelers from 18 countries and they will be treated as returning fully vaccinated British travelers.

British Transport Secretary Grant Sharps said: “These changes mean a simpler and more direct system. A system with fewer tests and lower costs allows more people to travel around the world, visit relatives or conduct business. , And at the same time provide impetus for the tourism industry.” ”

After returning from a non-red list country, passengers who have not been confirmed as fully vaccinated with authorized vaccines and certificates are still required to undergo pre-departure testing, PCR testing on the 2nd and 8th days and self-isolate for 10 days according to the new two-level travel plan.
