Covid-19: The threshold for more than 4.5 million deaths in the world-News

According to reports, about 10,000 people die every day in the world.

According to statistics from Agence France-Presse on Monday, the world has passed the grim threshold of 4.5 million Covid-19 deaths, as the deadly Delta variant has caused severe damage worldwide.

Statistics from official sources show that the virus has caused 4,500,620 deaths since the outbreak in China in December 2019.

According to reports, about 10,000 people die every day in the world, far below the high point in January, when an average of 14,800 people were killed every day.

But this number is much higher than in early July, when the daily death toll was about 7,800.

With an average of 1,290 deaths per day in the past week, the United States has once again become the country with the largest number of new deaths in the world.

As early as January, it recorded as many as 3,380 deaths per day, and this number had dropped to just 200 in early summer.

But it is now facing a wave of deadly Delta variants, which have spread to most countries in the world since it was discovered in India in April.

The number of deaths caused by the pandemic in 2021 has exceeded that of 2020. Since January, the official death toll has exceeded 2.6 million, while the number of deaths for the whole of last year was slightly less than 1.9 million.

Countries all over the world hope that vaccines can slow the spread of the virus, but there are huge differences between rich and poor countries.

Only 7 doses are injected for every 100 people in Africa, compared with 99 doses in Europe and 111 doses in the United States.

These vaccines are also considered to be less effective against Delta variants.

According to a study published by the US health authorities last week, the anti-infective efficacy of Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines has dropped from 91% to 66% since the strain became dominant in the United States.

However, vaccines are still very effective in preventing serious diseases.
