The updated AlHosn app displays vaccination information, certificates, travel history and real-time QR codes.
The UAE authorities announced on Tuesday that the UAE’s Covid-19 contract tracking app AlHosn has been updated with important new features.

The updated application reflects the user’s “green pass” status, which is based on PCR test results and vaccination status.
The application has three colors-green, gray or red. Green indicates that the negative PCR test result is still valid; gray indicates that its validity period has passed; red indicates that the test result is positive.
Starting on August 20, most public places in Abu Dhabi are restricted to participants who are vaccinated, exempted from vaccinations and vaccine trials. The proof must be displayed through the AlHosn app.
Such public places include shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, gyms, entertainment facilities, sports activities, and all other retail stores outside of shopping malls. Except for supermarkets and pharmacies.
The updated AlHosn app also displays vaccination information, certificates, travel history and real-time QR codes.
Users can also add their parents and children to the app.
Users can log in using their UAE ID, unified ID and phone number.
