The UAE continues to distribute emergency medical supplies globally. To date, more than 2,200 tons of medical supplies have been shipped to more than 135 countries.
The UAE plays an important role as a logistics center through the International Humanitarian City in Dubai, which plays an indispensable role in the transportation of 80% of the world’s medical supplies and preventive equipment. The UAE supports the establishment of fully equipped field hospitals in Jordan, Guinea Conakry, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Lebanon and Mauritania.
