Earlier today, the UAE became one of the first countries in the world to approve the Sinopharm vaccine for this age group.
The Ministry of Health-Abu Dhabi (DoH) announced that the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine is now available for children aged 3 to 17 years in multiple locations in the UAE.
This is after the Ministry of Health and Prevention approved the vaccine for emergency use in children three years and older.
Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, Al Mushrif Children’s Specialty Centre-Seha, Al Mushrif Majlis, Al Bateen Majlis and Al Manhal Majlis provide walk-in vaccination.
The Ministry of Health stated that children in the Al Ain area can be vaccinated at Al Kubaisi Hall in Al Ain Exhibition Center, Al Towayya Children’s Professional Center Seha and Falaj Hazza Majlis.

In the Al Dhafra area, children aged 3-17 can be vaccinated at Ghayati Hospital, Liwa Hospital, Marfa Hospital, Sila Hospital, Delma Hospital, Al Dhafra Family Medicine Center and Al Dhafra Cooperative.
This decision is in line with efforts to fight the pandemic and provide protection for all community members.

The Abu Dhabi Ministry of Health stated that the approval was based on clinical trials and local evaluations.
Earlier today, the UAE became one of the first countries in the world to approve vaccination for this age group.
The approval was obtained after a trial conducted in Abu Dhabi to monitor the immune response of 900 children to the vaccine.
