They will be able to gradually reduce the social distancing requirements and the requirements for wearing masks
The Abu Dhabi authorities have approved the Blue Schools plan, which allows all schools in the emirate to relax measures based on vaccination rates and resume normal operations.
Starting from the second semester of this school year, Blue School proposes to regard vaccination as a key way to recovery, once again emphasize transparency, and enhance students’ learning and social experience.
The school will classify students according to their vaccination rates. The vaccinated schools will be able to gradually relax measures, including reducing social distancing requirements, relaxing the regulations on wearing masks, increasing classroom and school transportation capacity, and resuming extracurricular activities, school activities, and field trips.
The four levels are as follows:
> Schools with less than 50% of vaccinated students are “orange”
> 50-60% of the schools where students are vaccinated are “yellow”
> Schools that vaccinate 65-84% of students will provide “green”
=>’Blue’ means schools where 85% and above students are vaccinated
