The Dubai Airport Free Trade Zone Authority (DAFZA) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Bahrain Export Corporation. This signing establishes a bilateral technical cooperation framework to support the joint efforts of both parties in institutional development, promotion of commercial activities, support for companies and their growth and expansion plans, and exchange of information and expertise.
The cooperation agreement was signed by Amna Lootah, Assistant Director General of DAFZA, and Safa Abdulkhaliq, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Export Agency. The agreement aims to encourage companies of the two countries to expand and develop joint trade relations. It also strengthens bilateral cooperation in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, exchanges expertise and best practices, and promotes access to technology, markets, and business networks.
The agreement allows Bahraini export companies to enter global companies that have established headquarters in the Dubai Airport Free Zone in order to support Bahraini exporters in accordance with the framework established by the agreement. It will grant DAFZA access to companies supported by the Bahrain Export Company in an effort to improve the company’s relationship with DAFZA counterparts and exchange information, services and offers. In addition, the two parties will cooperate in organizing events, seminars, seminars and conferences to support the establishment of relationships between companies, as well as cooperation in research and development and other related fields.
