The 2023 NBA Abu Dhabi Games is part of a multi-year partnership between the NBA and DCT Abu Dhabi, with the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks playing the league’s first game in the Arabian Gulf last year. In January, the NBA and DCT Abu Dhabi launched an expanded version of the second season of the Jr. NBA Abu Dhabi League, featuring both boys’ and girls’ leagues featuring 450 players aged 11-14 from schools across the UAE capital. The partnership also includes a variety of interactive fan events, including appearances by current and former NBA players, a series of health-promoting NBA FIT clinics, and an NBA 2K League exhibition event.
