DAMAC awarded infrastructure contract for key Dubai lagoon project

Damac Properties, one of the Middle East’s leading luxury real estate developers, has been awarded major works contracts for two clusters – Nice N2 and Nice N3 – as well as backbone infrastructure works for the development of the Dubai Land Damac Lagoons master community.

The company signed a contract with Delta Al Emarate Building Contracting, the main project of Nice N2 and Nice N3 clusters.

Works on Nice N2 will cover almost 434 residential units in the cluster, including townhouses and villas, which will include facilities such as waterways and gymnasiums, while Nice N3 will cover almost 60 villas in the cluster, with similar facilities .

According to Damac, both projects aim to provide residents with a luxurious and comfortable living space.

For backbone infrastructure projects, Damac has included KAD Engineering & Construction.

The scope of the project includes the construction, completion, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Damac Lagoons – Backbone Roads road and infrastructure works, with a service area of ​​approximately 18.5 hectares and a road length of approximately 9.2 kilometers.

Backbone infrastructure works also include road paving, car parks, curbs, traffic control signs and road markings, according to DAMAC.

In addition, KAD Engineering & Construction.

On awarding the new contract, General Manager Mohammed Tahaineh said: “Delta Al Emarate Building Contracting and KAD Engineering & Construction will help us further develop our vision of providing residents with the highest quality living spaces.”

“We are also excited to see the progress of construction on Damac Lagoons, the most exciting and unique project in all of our communities,” Tahaineh said.

According to him, the Damac Lagoons master community development offers a luxurious and sustainable lifestyle with various amenities such as waterways, fitness courts and lush green landscaping.

The development aims to provide residents with a tranquil and peaceful environment while also providing easy access to the bustling city life of Dubai.

He added that there will be multiple activity centers and residential areas in the community, all themes and names named after Mediterranean cities, including Nice, Portofino, Santorini, Costa Brava, Venice and more.-TradeArabia News Service
