Dan Hook slams Michael Johnson for suggesting they fight in Abu Dhabi

[ad_1]

Dan Hook Seeking to resume competition as soon as possible, but had some trouble with the UFC.New Zealanders are currently Calling Tony Ferguson, But completely open to all. This includes Michael Johnson, despite his “underresearched callout”.

Johnson recently tweeted:

“Yo @danthehangman, are you still looking for 4 people in LW? You say anyone from anywhere right? I’ll see you halfway in Abu Dhabi! End of October!!”

Yo @danthehangman Are you still looking for 4 people in LW? You say where is someone right? I will meet you halfway in Abu Dhabi! End of October! ! https://t.co/v4Tdk1v48Y

Hook didn’t respond at the time, but in the new episode submit radio, He says:

“I don’t care, I’ll fight Michael Johnson. I just don’t answer the call because I don’t know where he thinks I live, but ‘halfway’ is not…where does he think I live?! Where does he think New Zealand is.. …. he said “I’ll see you halfway in Abu Dhabi. “Man, that’s farther than America. I’d rather, I don’t know where he lives, but I’d rather fly there and fight him in America than fly to Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is not half. Abu Dhabi is Twice as far in the US! That’s an underresearched appeal. And it’s not worth responding to. I guess, don’t they have geography in US schools?

Watch Dan Hook discuss the fight with Michael Johnson below:

To be fair, a flight from New Zealand to Abu Dhabi is only a few hours longer than a flight to Las Vegas, and about the same time as a flight to New York City. As a boxer from New Zealand, any event outside his country, Australia, China or Singapore requires more than 20 hours of flying.

Dan Hook doesn’t want to play Abu Dhabi again after 0-2 at Battle Island

It is clear that Dan Hook has no interest in returning to Abu Dhabi if he can avoid it. “The Executioner” played there twice and lost both times, first to Michael Chandler and then to Islam Makhachev. After those failures, He says MMA hours:

“I will never go back [to Abu Dhabi]. that place is horrible to me. “

Hooker has some impressive horror stories about the ordeal he endured at the Abu Dhabi race, from a six-week quarantine to an F1 car speeding around a hotel as he tried to sleep before the race.
