Daniel Kaluuya is afraid of being “forgotten”.
The 33-year-old actor is one of the most popular stars in the film industry – but Daniel is only interested in making movies with a big impact.
The London-born actor – who received critical acclaim for his performance in Jordan Peele’s “Get Out” – said: “I don’t think I’m afraid of going bad. [I’m in] Fear of being forgotten.
“You know, like you put so much time and time into something, people just go ‘um’ and move on with their lives.
“So, the fact that we make the movie, whether it stays in your mind or in your heart or whatever it is, it’s going to stay with you.”
Daniel reunites with Jordan, 43, for a new horror film, No.
Although both of them have enjoyed considerable success in recent years, little has changed in their personal dynamics.
Daniel told Sky News: “The feeling has changed and we are more certain about what we are doing.
“But we just did what we’ve done in the past with settings, characters, scenes, we just locked in and [focused on] How do we make this work, how do we bring the characters to the audience? “
Meanwhile, Daniel previously admitted that finding fame was “disoriented”.
The actor explained that he is still adjusting to his status as a movie star.
He said: “It’s not why I do it – wearing a suit or shaking hands. It’s disorienting. But it’s even more disorienting because of where I’m from.
“After ‘Get Out’ I finished ‘Black Panther’ and went back to the estate [in north London where he grew up]. Then I was nominated. Boom! who I am? I have to understand that what happens will be permanent. “
