UAE-based affordable housing pioneer Danube Properties has appointed Naresco Contracting as the main contractor for the construction of the AED475 million ($129 million) Skyz Tower.

Skyz, a Mediterranean-themed high-rise residential tower with elegantly designed apartments, retail outlets and entertainment facilities, will be developed on a 67,837.39 sq. ft. site in Arjan, near Miracle Gardens and easy access to the Mohammed Bin Zayed Expressway. Under the contract, Naresco Contracting will build and deliver the Skyz project by the end of the third quarter of 2024.

The tower overlooks the Miracle Gardens, Arabian Ranch and Motor City neighborhoods. Affordable housing comes with Danube Properties’ trend-setting 1% payment plan, helping middle-income tenants and end-users easily access their dream home.

8,272 Residential Unit Portfolios

Danube Properties’ current development portfolio involves 8,272 residential units with a total development value of over AED 5.65 billion. To date, it has delivered 4,556 units with total sales of AED3.63 billion, almost two-thirds of the entire portfolio value.

“As a customer-focused and delivery-focused developer, today’s announcement of our appointment as the prime contractor for Sky Tower reinforces our commitment to delivering homes to our customers on time and in the right quality,” said founder and chairman Rizwan Sajan Danube Group said.

“The credibility of a real estate developer depends on the timely delivery and quality of projects. We are very aware of our commitment to our clients, our biggest stakeholder. Since entering the real estate business, we have been delivering projects on time and with quality.”

It currently has more than 4,500 employees and a large number of companies actively involved in its construction business. It has successfully delivered several projects for Danube Properties, including Glit 1, 2 and 3 and Miraclz.
