What to expect from this street beat festival…
Earlier this year, Live Nation Middle East confirmed that the UK’s number one ‘city festival’, Wireless, will debut in Abu Dhabi in March 2023. It’s a musical celebration of street beats, showcasing clips of the best artists from fringe genres such as hip-hop, grime, techno, trip-hop, trap and afrobeats.
We now know the confirmation date, and we’ve been promised more news on the artist this January. The one-day Abu Dhabi festival will take place on March 11, 2023.
The UK 2022 event took place at Finsbury Park and Crystal Palace in July and hosted the lyrical elite of modern music – artists such as Cardi B, SZA, Nicki Minaj, A$AP Rocky, J Cole and Tyler, the Creator. In previous years, more rap royalty hit the stage — Jay-Z, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Travis Scott, Stormz and Skepta all wowed the festival crowd with their own voices.
