David Hasselhoff has a “healthy self”.
The 70-year-old “Baywatch” legend admits he can sometimes come across as egotistical, but that comes from a place where he wants his job to be “perfect”.
He told Reader’s Digest UK: “Well, yes, I have an ego, but it’s through my desire to be perfect in everything I do.
“I have a healthy self because I apologize when I’m wrong.

Hasselhoff has a major fan base in Germany, and his most recent role is playing a fictional self on TV over there.
He will appear on RTL streaming service TV Now’s “Ze Network,” starring in his own version alongside German actor Henry Hubchen, in what has been described as a tale of international conspiracy.
