DBWC launches fifth round of mentorship program

The Dubai Business Women’s Council (DBWC) has launched the 5th cycle of its mentorship programme, which aims to enhance Dubai’s reputation as a key hub for talented entrepreneurs and an incubator for major economic projects.

Registration for the Mentor Program is open from 1 August and will be available on the Council website through 20 September. The Steering Committee will then begin a screening process to select trainees and pair them with experts and mentors from partner organisations, institutions and institutions for a six-month training programme.

Over the past four cycles, the DBWC Mentor Program has successfully trained and certified over 150 women and businesswomen to advance their entry into the business world. Participants in the program gain valuable skills and experience that improve their professional and personal lives.

Dr Raja Al Gurg, Chairman of the Dubai Business Women’s Council, stressed that the programme will play a vital role in enhancing the capabilities and skills of women entrepreneurs and will undoubtedly build on the outstanding success of previous cycles and build on it significantly skills and help them adapt to changes in the global business market. “

“We will launch the fifth edition of the Mentorship Programme as part of our ongoing efforts to empower Council members, improve their skills and provide the highest quality, practical and professional training to enhance their competitive advantage in the business world” Argu Erg said.

Nadine Halabi, DBWC Business Development Manager, said the programme was designed according to best international practice to keep pace with rapidly evolving changes and required skills. Tailor-made training plans are developed according to the professional needs and requirements of each trainee. This includes personalised one-on-one coaching to help improve the skills of each participant,” Halabi added.
