DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF), a joint venture between Dubai-based Al-Futtaim and Stuttgart-based DC Aviation Group, is celebrating 10 years of operations in Dubai.

Furthermore, this year DC Aviation celebrated its 25th anniversary, while the Malta operation celebrated its 15th year of operation.

Over the past decade, the company has achieved important milestones, including the completion in September 2013 of a purpose-built integrated hangar facility with lounge and office areas. This made it the first fully integrated international airport for business aviation operations at the then newly opened Al Maktoum, south of Dubai.

The facility also offers 1,300sqm of exclusive breakout areas offering the highest level of comfort and privacy, including shower areas, spacious meeting rooms, covered car parking and contemporary finishes. As part of its ongoing commitment to its clients, DCAF recently completed the refurbishment of its VVIP Lounge.

DCAF customers enjoy a high level of convenience, including 24-hour on-site security facilities, customs and immigration services, and instant access from limousine drop-off to aircraft parked directly in front of the lounge.

Michael Kuhn, CEO of DC Aviation Group, said: “This is an important milestone for all of us at DC Aviation and further reaffirms our decision to partner with Al-Futtaim, with whom we have a longstanding relationship relationship. This joint venture enables us to create one of the leading business aviation businesses in the Middle East and we look forward to continuing to grow our business and provide our customers with the highest level of service and safety.”
