Dell Technologies announced new security services and solutions to help organizations defend against threats, respond to attacks and protect their devices, systems and clouds.
72% of IT business leaders and professionals believe that the changing work environment places their organizations at greater risk. Highly distributed IT environments create new opportunities for cybercriminals and require organizations to transform their approach to protecting and recovering their data and systems. Dell’s new security offerings help address these challenges, enabling organizations to reduce risk and protect their business.
“At a time when healthcare organizations are prime targets for cyberattacks, our partnership with Dell Technologies is critical to achieving our IT goals while keeping our data and sensitive patient information safe,” said Theodore Fotias, vice president of IT Infrastructure at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Very important.” “Dell security solutions give us the peace of mind we need to focus on what matters most: providing the best possible research and care for our patients.”
Growing Portfolio
“Security is in Dell’s DNA. It’s built into our designs, our infrastructure, our supply chain and our products,” said Matt Baker, senior vice president of corporate strategy at Dell Technologies. “Our growing portfolio of security services and solutions is helping organizations address their toughest security challenges and address the growing complexity of how they stay secure across networks, devices and systems. We are helping customers double down on their Improve resilience.”
Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Pro Plus
Dell is expanding the capabilities of its MDR offering with Managed Detection and Response Pro Plus, a fully managed security operations solution that helps organizations prevent, respond to and recover from security threats.
With Managed Detection and Response Pro Plus, Dell protects endpoints, infrastructure, software, hardware and cloud by:
• Provides 24×7 threat detection and investigation while identifying vulnerabilities and prioritizing remediation.
• Conduct breach and attack simulations to ensure an organization’s existing security controls, including network or email gateway settings, are configured and functioning properly.
• Perform penetration testing, using the same techniques experienced hackers use to find vulnerable routes into an organization’s environment, flag potentially suspicious activity, and recommend security posture improvements.
• Provide year-round cybersecurity training in easy-to-follow modules to increase employee risk awareness and encourage best practices.
• Provides Incident Recovery Services to rapidly deploy certified experts to assess security incidents and restore customers to business in the event of a breach.
CrowdStrike’s Threat Management Portfolio
In addition to the managed services approach, Dell enables organizations to design, manage and secure their own IT environments. Dell is now offering customers more choice in cybersecurity software by adding CrowdStrike Falcon to its SafeGuard and Response portfolio.
With CrowdStrike’s industry-leading cloud-native platform, organizations gain an expanded defense suite that accelerates threat investigation and response to protect key areas of enterprise risk: endpoints and cloud workloads, identities and data.
With the addition of CrowdStrike to the portfolio, organizations can more easily rely on Dell to meet their expanding security needs, including enabling zero-trust architectures with scalable, best-in-class solutions.
“We’ve seen tremendous interest in our cyber-related services in the EMEA region, especially among mid-sized businesses. Clients recognize that traditional perimeter defenses are ineffective against increasingly sophisticated ransomware attacks, and MDR Pro Plus enables them to It’s easier to understand, buy and enable protection,” said Dermot O’Connell, Senior Vice President, Service Sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Dell Technologies.
Hardware Protection for Dell Business PCs
Dell builds the most secure business PCs in the industry. Further strengthening organizational confidence through integration between Dell PC design and the supply chain, Dell has launched a cloud-based version of its Secure Component Verification (SCV) product. The enhanced solution provides enterprise customers with additional assurance of security that their PCs arrive when they are ordered and manufactured from the factory.
Cloud Secure Component Authentication helps reduce the risk of tampering with Dell business PC products. Dell generates a digital certificate, which is stored in a secure cloud environment, documenting critical PC components in the factory. After delivery, the IT team can check the PCs against the corresponding certificates to verify the integrity of the components. This unique offering also allows IT teams to validate their entire PC fleet against each device locally in a single view, saving time while providing an additional layer of security.
Product Success Accelerator
To help organizations prepare for potential cybersecurity incidents, Dell has launched the Product Success Accelerator (PSX) for cyber recovery. The new service simplifies the implementation and operation of more secure, isolated Cyber Recovery vaults, so organizations can protect critical data and maintain business continuity.
Joining Dell’s growing portfolio of network recovery solutions and services, PSX for Cyber Recovery is the first outcome-based standardized service in the new PSX line. Companies can choose from three levels of assistance based on their needs.
Readiness includes planning workshops, installation and configuration of the Dell Cyber Recovery Library, runbooks, success plans and cybersecurity skills training
Optimise adds quarterly vault assessments, environment recommendations including updates, patches and policies, and assisted recovery testing simulations.
Operate adds ongoing operational assistance to monitor and investigate activity, initiate corrective action, and provide support in the event of a cyber attack.
“MDR is the catalyst for security teams to quickly identify and close gaps, deploy modern integrated technologies, and guide future security strategy,” said Dave Gruber, principal analyst at the Enterprise Strategy Group.
“With the sophistication and broader reach of potential attacks, Dell’s recent additions of services and solutions demonstrate their understanding and commitment to helping IT and security leaders evolve and implement IT A security plan for the infrastructure.” — trade arab news agency
