Denison names Kristen Skroski as assistant coach
Denison added kristin skowski The reigning Division III champions announced Monday as an assistant coach for the 2023-24 season.
Skroski graduated from the Bucknell University swim team in 2008. Since then, the coaching experience has been mainly concentrated in the club field.
“We are very fortunate and excited to have Kristin on our coaching staff,” said the head coach Greg Parrini explain in the team statement“She brings a wealth of coaching experience and expertise to the Denison program. I look forward to seeing our student-athletes benefit from her dynamic coaching.”
Skroski has spent the past six years coaching at Cypress Fairbanks Aquatic Club in Texas. Before that, she spent nearly a decade at the Amity Regional Aquatic Club in her hometown of Connecticut.
Skroski was a three-time All-Patriot All-Patriot and two-time Academic All-Patriot. She was the team’s MVP in 2008, the year she earned a bachelor’s degree in animal behavior.
“I am thrilled to join such an established and successful Denison coaching staff and to step onto the collegiate stage with such a bright and talented group of student-athletes,” Skroski said. “I can’t wait to put my creativity and enthusiasm into it and see what level we can get to. Go big red.”
Skroski fills vacancy left by assistant head coach Kim Lloyd, quit after nine seasons at Denison to attend law school.Lloyd helps Big Red girls to second title 2023 NCAA Division III Champions.
