As the fourth quarter release date approaches, Terra Solis Dubai, the newest member of the iconic Tomorrowland family, has appointed seasoned hotelier Alexander Suski to lead the team at this five-star overall desert destination.
Suski’s responsibilities include expanding Terra Solis Dubai’s presence in the region and securing its status as a year-round must-visit destination, while growing Terra Sol Hospitality into a pioneering hospitality company.
Before being named CEO of Terra Sol Hospitality, Belgian Suski gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry, with a career spanning nearly 20 years, including senior management positions for brands in the UAE, Middle East and Africa and Europe, including Ishraq Hospitality, Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA, Kempinski Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts and Sofitel, among others.
Nicolas Vandenabeele, founder of Terra Solis Dubai, said: “Alexander’s proven operational and commercial track record in introducing, managing and developing luxury hotel projects in the region will be integral to our success as we show the world this unique desert purpose land.
“His primary role is to focus on translating an ambitious vision into a strategic plan for short- and long-term growth, while driving commercial success, brand building, and all aspects of business and people development.”
Most recently, Suski was the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Ishraq Hospitality in Dubai, part of the Mohamed and Obaid Al Mulla Group of Companies, overseeing the hospitality business and providing strategic direction for the eight owned properties under the IHG franchise.
Speaking of his appointment, Suski said: “We have witnessed tremendous interest from the regional market and a global audience eager to see what this newest Tomorrowland brand has to offer. Terra Solis is undoubtedly a unique development and as such has Opportunity to launch a destination unlike any other in the world. It combines the entertainment capabilities of Tomorrowland with a luxury desert hut and glamping experience, the best dining and an incredible pool scene, all in the desert of Dubai in the sand dunes.”
Inspired by constellations, Terra Solis Dubai will feature three stunning accommodation styles named after stars, meteor showers and constellations: Polaris Bell Tent, Perseus Lodge and Orion Pool Lodge, each offering incredible experience and focus on comfort, luxury and style.
The 371,000-square-meter oriental-chic desert oasis will provide guests with year-round leisure in a refreshing and vibrant destination. In addition to incredible music and activities, guests can enjoy a more comprehensive range of activities, including yoga and fitness facilities.
From a dining perspective, MESA restaurant menus are expected to feature a range of dishes from countries around the world, prepared with ingredients sourced from market availability by passionate and dedicated growers, farmers and producers, and served with a variety of Drinks and Cocktails.
