Detransitioner slams entertainment industry for normalizing children’s gender transition: ‘How low can you go’

[ad_1]

De-transgender and social media icon Ollie London has criticized the entertainment industry for trying to “normalize” minors undergoing gender transition in order to “weaken society”.

London is a social media influencer with over 2 million followers across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter, he spent hundreds of thousands of dollars Surgery to look like a Korean woman. After six months of living as a trans Korean woman, London reverted to his old self, saying the changes he decided to make to his appearance did not solve his problems.

“I was lucky that I didn’t have a full body makeover, but I totally changed my face all of a sudden, and I do regret a lot of the things I did,” London told Fox Digital News.

London said he had surgery to try to look and feel better, which would keep him happy for a few months, but said he would go back to being unhappy with himself.

“I’m transgender, I lived as a trans woman for six months, and I think that’s why I’m unhappy, and then I’m still unhappy,” he said. “I was thinking about more surgeries, more extreme body modifications. Then I started thinking, ‘Is this really me?’ “Is this who I want to be?’ “

TIKTOKER OLI LONDON ‘Shocked’ After LGBT Activist Claims ‘De-Conversion’ Isn’t ‘The Real Thing’

“People keep telling me I’m better as a woman, I look better, I’m more feminine, but it doesn’t feel like me,” he added. “That’s when I really started to question myself and realized that I just wanted to get back to who I was when I was born.”

London says his story is not dissimilar to those of many transitioners and de-transitioners, but he separates his from those of teens who have undergone similar surgery to address gender dysphoria.

“I’m an adult,” he said. “Obviously, I blame myself, but I’m deluded by the indoctrination that this is perfectly normal.”

“There’s a whole society talking about how easy it is to transition, and if you feel like you’re confused about who you are, it’s because you’re stuck in the wrong body,” London said. “So I fell in love with that.”

London argues that a large percentage of kids who might not have wanted to transition a decade ago now think it’s “cool” or “trendy” because of TV shows like RuPaul’s Drag Race or TikTok influencers like Dylan Mulvaney who push the idea if Kids “just decide to switch,” and kids struggling with their own identities “can get validation,” “attention,” or “love and compassion.”

He said social media, the education system and the medical establishment were responsible for promoting this ideology.

“In the West, especially in America, the entertainment industry, Hollywood is trying to normalize this, and I think the reasoning behind it is to confuse kids and almost weaken society and make people fight over pronouns,” he said. Say.

“People should come together and learn about American values,” he added. “Instead, people are dividing.”

London has been harshly critical of British singer-songwriter Sam Smith, whose Recent music video sparks backlash Crossing social media due to its pornographic nature and lack of age restrictions, he believes it was pushed by the entertainment industry to “stir up anger” and “promote sexualisation”.

“I think there are people in the entertainment industry … people with power who want to normalize this behavior,” he said. “We’re seeing more and more people trying to push for the renaming of pedophiles as Minor Attractive (MAP).

London also attributes the medical industry’s acceptance of sex reassignment surgery to greed.

“As an adult, you’re free to make your own decisions, but I think we’re seeing this rise because, first of all, it’s a big business for these pediatric clinics … there’s a lot of money involved, said London.

“Today, society pushes many young people to undergo sex reassignment surgery, facial feminization, hormones or puberty blockers because they know it’s seen as a quick fix,” he added. “But, you know, it’s a temporary solution.”

“I think the same is true of many children being forced to transition,” he said.

London notes that 1.6 million people aged 13 and over in the U.S. now identify as transgender, according to A study conducted by the Williams Institute at the UCLA School of Law. Additionally, 18 percent of transgender people are between the ages of 13 and 17, while children ages 13 to 17 make up only 8 percent of the U.S. population.

Former trans influencer OLI LONDON says China’s TIKTOK meddles in US politics, censors conservatives

“Young people ages 13 to 17 make up a larger proportion of the transgender population than we had previously estimated, and now account for 18 percent of the transgender population in the United States, up from 10 percent previously,” the study concluded.

“We’re seeing this is an extremely harmful trend, and that’s why I think it’s important that someone like Sam Smith is doing something shocking right now,” London said. “The focus on him Very high. He’s been there for four days.”

London said the music video left Smith’s young audience “very susceptible” to thinking these “shocking sexual fantasies” were “normal.”

“The whole Sam Smith music video is basically like watching a porn video, it’s so explicit,” London said. “You’ve got Sam Smith making fun of Christianity. It’s appalling that someone who doesn’t do baptisms and pees in his mouth is a sexual fetish for some people.”

“How low can you go? How desperate can your music video be?” he added.

The music video also includes Smith dancing, with the camera focusing and zooming in on the lower part of his body while he dances with a “sexy tone,” London said.

“You have these guys wriggling on the bed in leather underwear and bondage in highly sexy and provocative poses, it’s like bondage BDSM,” he added. “Sam Smith has a lot of young fans…and is always trying to push his non-binary personality…to stir up anger and make headlines.”

London said he believed “at least” there should be age restrictions on “highly sexual” content on social media to prevent children from accessing what he considered pornographic, such as Smith’s music videos.

‘Nonbinary’ singer Sam Smith claims music industry ‘not used to queer artists’

As a member of the LGBTQ community, London said Smith’s message was “harmful” because it gave the impression that it represented everyone who identified as LGBTQ.

“They think that all trans people, all non-binary people are like Sam Smith, that they’re all caught up in these sexual deviations, and that’s not the case,” London said.

“People see Sam Smith and they think he represents the LGBT community,” he added. “I just think it’s very degrading to show LGBT people from that angle when you could make a more positive, uplifting video, maybe a love story, some romance about self-acceptance. “
