Deutsche Hospitality has signed franchise agreements with Valor Hospitality and Globus Hotels, announcing the signing of its newest hotel, IntercityHotel Tashkent, to open in the capital of Uzbekistan in the first quarter of 2023.
Located in the heart of Mirabad’s business center, IntercityHotel Tashkent is part of Deutsche Hotels Group’s expansion plan in the region, offering the perfect combination of comfort and mobility in Uzbekistan. The introduction of the hotel into Deutsche Hotel Group’s global portfolio marks the group’s first hotel in the country.
Oliver Bonke, CEO of Deutsche Hospitality, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Globus Hotels and Valor Hospitality on this amazing project. We believe that Tashkent’s strategic location is ideal for Uzbekistan’s first intercity hotel.”
The new hotel reflects the brand image of Intercity Hotels and is centrally located just minutes away from Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport, tourist attractions, business centres and railway stations.
With 122 keys, the hotel invites guests to relax and connect with the destination and its people, while offering state-of-the-art amenities such as a full-service gym, luxury spa facilities and two restaurants for every taste.
Julien Bergue, co-founder and managing partner of Valor Hospitality Partners Middle East and CIS, said: “Valor Hospitality has long sought opportunities in Uzbekistan and we are delighted to announce the launch of IntercityHotel Tashkent.”
“Following our signing of the exciting Hyatt Regency in Bukhara last year, making it the city’s first five-star hotel, we have partnered with Deutsche Hotels Group to bring diversity to Uzbekistan’s hospitality industry and Be a regional driver. Our local on-the-ground partner HotelsPro continues to support our initiatives in Uzbekistan and we remain committed to growing with them,” added Bergue.-TradeArabia News Service
