DEWA celebrates role of outstanding Emirati female engineers in Dubai

Al Tayer said: “The process of empowering Emirati women initiated by the Founding Fathers has yielded qualitative and inspiring achievements. Thank you for the continued support of the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE ; and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Emirati women have become important partners in the UAE’s renaissance and its prosperity.”

Al Tayer also highlighted DEWA’s keenness to celebrate inspiring and successful female role models recognised in local and international forums.

DEWA Women’s Council organised a celebration at the Dubai Ladies Club to honour its 10 outstanding female engineers. The winning engineer received a certificate of appreciation, a cash gift and an annual membership to the Dubai Ladies Club.
