DEWA provides “Private Work Right” service through website and smart application – Dubai Blog

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) provides its customers with the “Private Work in Right of Way” service, enabling them to obtain approvals for various construction activities outside of their private residential/commercial workplaces through DEWA’s website and smart applications.

The service includes landscape works, land re-planning, Sikka cancellation requests, temporary access to farms, outdoor seating, exterior paving works, temporary scaffolding, and more services for customers who own villas, farms, plots, and shops.

These services are provided through its website and smart applications, providing customers with the convenience of easily and safely conducting transactions anytime, anywhere, while protecting the environment and conserving natural resources.

DEWA is committed to enriching the customer experience through smart services, saving them time and energy, and using the latest disruptive technology in line with the Smart Dubai Plan to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city in the world.

DEWA has completed digital integration with more than 30 entities, and its intelligent transactions completed from 2017 to the end of September 2021 are approximately 41 million transactions. In addition, the smart adoption rate of DEWA services reached 98.92% in the third quarter of 2021.
