DEWA updates its 2022 strategy to prepare for the post-COVID-19 phase – Dubai Blog

The Dubai Water and Electricity Authority (DEWA) organized a seminar to update its 2022 strategy.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, DEWA’s managing director and CEO, and DEWA’s senior management team attended the meeting because DEWA is committed to regularly updating its strategy to keep up with rapid development.

In his keynote speech at the seminar, Al Tayer said that updating DEWA’s strategic plan is particularly important because this year’s celebration of the Golden Jubilee in the UAE and the 2020 Dubai World Expo will be held in the region for the first time.

“Thanks to the foresight and instructions of our wise leadership, the UAE has successfully responded to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and has become one of the fastest responding countries in the world. Drawing lessons from the latest events, DEWA has successfully adjusted its operations and strategies to respond to the challenges brought by the pandemic and turn them into opportunities. Periodic reviews of the DEWA strategy are designed to ensure that it helps to improve its competitiveness and excellence in predicting and shaping the future.
