exclusive: karan joharof dharma making A strategic content partnership has been formed with Sikhya Entertainment, an Indian production company founded by Guneet Monga Kapoor.
The two companies will collaborate on multiple projects in feature film and digital formats. While no projects have been announced under the agreement, the partners say they will start disclosing details within two to three months.
The deal brings together one of Bollywood’s largest mainstream production houses with an institution best known for independent and festival films.

The two companies first collaborated to develop Ritesh Batra’s lunch boxfollowing the film’s premiere at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, Dharma was co-distributed in India with UTV Motion Pictures and won the Golden Railway Award at Critics’ Week.
In a statement, the partners said that Dharma’s mainstream expertise and talent discovery will be combined with Sikhya’s experience in independent film to “produce diverse and engaging content for both theatrical and digital distribution. Setting new benchmarks for creativity and innovation.”
