DHL Express, the world’s leading provider of international express delivery services, has announced that price changes will take effect on January 1, 2023. Compared to 2022, the average increase in the UAE is 6.5%.
“2022 has been another turbulent year so far, with volatile market conditions posing challenges to global trade. However, we have proven our ability to provide a stable and reliable service to our customers around the world,” said Geoff Walsh, Country Manager, UAE, DHL Express Say.
“Through annual price adjustments, we are able to invest in our infrastructure and technology to ensure resilient, sustainable and world-class customer solutions. It includes state-of-the-art aircraft and vehicles, expanding our hubs and gateways to meet constant demands growing customer demand and investing in greener and more sustainable solutions, such as sustainable aviation fuels and electric vehicles,” Walsh said.
DHL Express adjusts prices annually, taking into account inflation and currency dynamics as well as administrative costs related to regulatory and security measures. These measures are regularly updated by national and international authorities in each of the more than 220 countries served by DHL Express. Depending on local conditions, price adjustments will vary by country and will apply to all customers contractually permitted.
A limited number of optional services and surcharges will also be adjusted, DHL Express said. – arab trade news agency
