Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defense have warned of the danger of fire and crowding at the accident scene, which is considered unacceptably negative behaviour. They added that the congestion prevented ambulances and emergency vehicles, traffic patrols and civil defense personnel from reaching as quickly as possible to provide humanitarian assistance to the wounded and save their lives.

Emphasizing the need to give way to ambulances and civil defense vehicles, they explained that congestion often leads to some accidents, as some motorists stop at the scene of an accident and curious pedestrians cross the road to reach these locations, unaware of the flow of traffic, which leads to They are prone to rollover accidents.

They appealed to the public to follow the instructions of traffic officers at the accident scene to protect their safety and the safety of road users, noting that a fine of Dh1,000 will be imposed on those who crowd at the accident scene. They said the move was aimed at reducing congestion and random parking of vehicles on the road where the accident occurred and preventing traffic jams at the accident site.

They pointed out that it is unacceptable for curious people to watch the accident scene, take photos of the accident vehicle and post the photos on social media, and offenders will be held accountable.
