Prince Harry reportedly paid Meghan Markle’s Mum Doria a pocket money, a book claims. According to the book Clash Royale, Meghan Markle’s mother had to quit her job before Meghan Markle could marry Prince Harry. For this reason, the book says, Prince Harry gave Meghan Markle’s mother a stipend to help her.

The book also claims that the late monarch Elizabeth II is spying “with a shrewd eye” on the reckless spending of Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle.
“In 2018, Meghan spent more than £500,000 on clothing for public events, £1.11 million on her trip to Africa alone, and her private life – jewellery, Frogmore renovations, Doria’s stipend, her private trips back to the U.S. and Canada,” the book says.

The book also says that Meghan Markle’s spending is a very common discussion among the royal family because it attracts attention. During the same period, Kate Middleton only spent £85,000, the book says.
