DIP Delta Hotels By Marriott Sees Growth in Green Practices

[ad_1]

Delta Hotels in Dubai Investment Park (DIP) has implemented several initiatives to support UAE President HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who recently declared 2023 a “sustainable Year of Development” statement to lead the way in sustainable hospitality practices.

Supporting action and innovation in the area of sustainability, the hotel’s recent efforts include converting part of its terrace into a fresh fruit and vegetable garden. The garden initiative allows the hotel to grow fresh produce such as tomatoes and bell peppers, which the kitchen will use to prepare fresh, eco-friendly meals for guests. This sustainable approach not only has a positive impact on the environment, but also provides guests with a ‘farm to table’ dining experience.

Delta Hotels & Resorts Dubai Investment Park has also partnered with AirOWater to convert humidity in the air into sustainable drinking water for hotel guests. AirOWater’s Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) was launched to address the global shortage of clean drinking water, while also meeting the growing demand for fresh drinking water by providing an innovative and sustainable solution to replace plastic.

A hotel’s commitment to sustainability goes beyond food and water initiatives. During the festive season, Dubai Marriott Investments Park Delta strategically created an art installation Christmas tree out of metal waste to reduce waste and demonstrate the hotel’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint. Additionally, the hotel is offering guests newspaper and magazine access to popular publications through the online PressReader application and will be implementing iPad check-in in the second quarter of this year.

Hazem El Kadi, Director of Operations, Delta Hotels by Marriott Dubai Investment Park, commented: “We are delighted to implement these sustainable initiatives and to do our part to support President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Call for 2023 to be the ‘Year of Sustainable Development’ Sustainability”. We believe sustainable practices are critical to the future of our planet and are committed to doing our part to create a more sustainable future for all. “

Delta Hotels Dubai Investments Park looks forward to continuing to explore new ways to reduce its environmental impact.
