The New York Racing Association (NYRA) announces that three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Diplo will star in the 2023 Belmont Stakes Festival Entertainment, presented by Mohegan Sun, with a special performance at 4:15 p.m. before the Belmont Stakes Belmont Tournament Day, June 10 – 5:45 pm.

The 155th $1.5 million Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets is the final leg of the Horse Racing Triple Crown, and the $1.5 million Belmont Stakes Festival is a three-day celebration of world-class horse racing and entertainment starting at 6 Begins on Thursday, June 8 and culminates on Saturday, June 10.

Born Thomas Wesley Pentz, Diplo is one of the most dynamic forces in music today. A legend in his own right; a member of the now iconic Major Lazer, which recently released Piano Republik, an album of amapiano music collaborations with Major League Djz; Magic supergroup, whose debut album has surpassed 3 billion streams; half of Silk City with Mark Ronson, whose platinum-certified “Electricity” with Dua Lipa topped the global charts and earned a Grammy Best Dance Recording Award.

Artists performing on the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival grounds include Friday’s “Mike Fox Trio,” and Saturday’s “Black Tie Brass” and “Street Beat Brass.”
