Diriyah Company, which aims to make Diriyah a sophisticated cultural tourism destination, will showcase its growing tourism offerings at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), held at the Dubai World Trade Center from 1-4 May.
After opening in December 2022 the historic At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Bujairi Terrace, the Middle East’s premier culinary destination, Deriiya is now welcoming visitors from all over the world. With 38 confirmed hotel partners and a massive project pipeline of US$63.2 billion, Diria is fast becoming a global leader in the travel and hospitality industry.
Throughout the event, attendees will be invited to meet representatives of Diriyah companies at the Visit Saudi booth in Hall 4. Diriyah Company’s Group CEO Jerry Inzerillo and Chief Marketing Officer Kiran Haslam will also speak on a panel during the event.

In addition to showcasing its existing assets, the company will invite visitors to come and explore Diriyah and all it has to offer.
Just 15 minutes from downtown Riyadh, Diriyah is where the first Saudi state was established in 1727 and is the ancestral home of the Saudi royal family. At its center stands At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A grand centuries-old mud-brick palace, its traditional Najdi architecture has been the design inspiration for the entire development, linking it to the past and incorporating local materials into the building process.
A global gathering place for artists, intellectuals and scholars, Diriyah has been a center of cultural exchange for nearly 300 years, and the roots of modern Saudi society can be found in its awe-inspiring stories.
Diriyah will be a 14sq km mixed-use development offering residential hotel, commercial, retail and residential offerings that will preserve and enhance the region’s deep-rooted heritage and deliver a quality of life unrivaled in the Arabian Peninsula.
Diriyah will add approximately $7.2 billion to the Kingdom’s GDP, attract 27 million tourists a year and create 55,000 permanent new jobs. This will support key goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to attract 100 million tourists a year and increase tourism’s contribution to Saudi GDP from 3.2% in 2022 to 10% by the end of the decade.
Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO of Diriyah Companies, commented: “Tourism has become one of the key elements in the diversification of Saudi Arabia’s economy. Diriyah has played an important role in this transformation.
“At-Turaif and the opening of Bujairi Terrace, the Kingdom’s premier dining precinct, are significant moments in a new era for Diriyah, the Earth City, as we begin to welcome visitors to the heart of the Kingdom. We have a rolling master plan that runs from now until 2030 Every year, we announce and launch groundbreaking assets.” – trade arab news agency
