Discover Central Europe, a combination of national tourism offices of Hungary, Poland, Czechia and Slovakia, showcased their products, cultural heritage, natural beauty and hospitality at the ongoing Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai.
Zsuzsa Szégner, Director of International Relations, Visit Hungary and Ivan Ljubinkovic, Regional Head of Business Development, Visit Hungary, spoke at the Arabian Tourism Market 2023 in Dubai to promote the ‘Discover Central Europe’ campaign, which focuses on themes highlighting the region’s unique culture of shared tourist attractions, Spa culture and wellness, food, nature and shopping are the main attractions that attract tourists from the Middle East.
“Central Europe has a lot to offer visitors, from stunning historical landmarks to beautiful natural sights, exciting cultural events and a diverse culinary scene,” Szégner said.
“Through the Discover Central Europe platform, we’ve worked together to highlight these wonderful experiences, showcasing the best that our region has to offer as a whole, and then digging into the uniqueness of what each country has to offer.”
Regarding the region’s heritage offerings, there are a total of 49 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the region to explore. Direct flight connections from the Middle East to the region are also well established.
Ljubinkovic added: “We are delighted to welcome tourists to Hungary and the rest of Central Europe, where they can experience our rich culture, history and hospitality.”
Discover Central Europe events are expected to continue to drive tourism in the region, and their presence at Arabian Travel Market 2023 will help raise awareness of the many opportunities for travel and exploration in Central Europe.
