Disney has theme parks all over the world, and each of them has more rides, experiences and attractions than many people can hope to see in a day.

While you can usually grab a quick hot dog at a stand at almost any Disney theme park, there are also plenty of sit-down options in case you need to get away.
Disney’s theme parks are always a work in progress, and there always seems to be a renovation going on somewhere or new rides in development. Dining experiences at Disney are also in flux, and Chef Mouse has a lot in store for guests this year.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Fans of Disney’s Hollywood Studios have been hearing for years that Toy Story Land will have new barbecue facilities. After years of delay, the Roundup Rodeo BBQ will open this spring. It will reportedly be offered on a family-style basis and will be located near the newly installed rodeo area, which is located at the entrance sign to Woody’s Toy Story Land.
Disney theme park Imagineers teamed up with Pixar animators and designers to bring a variety of fun elements to the restaurant, including cartoons about Woody’s adventures, a steam train supported by colored pencils, and the beloved Toy Story movie Game board featuring characters from . Rodeo star from the movies Jessie, Trixie and Bo Peep and her sheep Billy, Goat and Gruff will be in attendance.
Carousel Coffee at Disney’s Boardwalk
Disney also opened a new upscale coffee shop near Disney World’s Boardwalk Resort in case you need to cheer yourself up.
Carousel Coffee, opening in the next few weeks, will offer all early risers beverage specials and breakfast pastries, including:
- Black Cherry Mocha Frozen Blend
- Cinnamon Buns Frozen Coffee Blend
- Pomegranate Green Tea Lemonade
- Retro Mickey and Minnie Sugar Cookies
- Croissant-Blueberry Muffins
Trader Sam’s Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Listen, we’re sure your kids or grandkids are great, but kids have a lot of energy and you probably need to responsibly relax, at least a little bit.
Well, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesia Resort has launched a beautiful new limited edition tiki mug featuring Jose from the Enchanted Tiki Room. You’ll need to stop by Grog Grotto after 3pm to pick up a wristband to buy this big boy, which costs $50.
Your options include the Manu Aloha (with Leblon Cachaça, pineapple, lime, mint and agave, served with a lime wheel) or, if you’re feeling more responsible, the non-alcoholic Blame It On The Samba (Includes Fever-tree ginger beer, pineapple, lime, mint and agave with fresh orchids).

Tokyo EPCOT restaurant
It’s not all good news for Disney’s dining scene at the moment. While Disney World’s EPCOT invites guests to travel the world without leaving Central Florida, one option will be ruled out for the near future. Tokyo Dining will be closed for several months for renovations and will reopen in the summer.
Takumi-Tei in EPCOT
But if you must eat upscale Japanese food next time you’re in Tokyo, you’re in luck. But it will cost you.
Takumi-Tei is offering two new omakase multi-course meals, an omnivorous (including Wagyu steak, roast duck and Chilean sea bass) and a $150 plant-based option.
Meals are served Thursday through Monday from 5pm to 7:30pm, no reservations required.

After a long hiatus, the nightly lights and fireworks show Fantasic! Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But it’s not just about lights in the sky, because there’s also professionally themed Fantasmic! Dining packages at various restaurants in the park.

As part of EPCOT’s Disney on Broadway collection, pre-orders are now available for dining packages that include guaranteed seating for this year’s concert series.
Confirmed performers for this year include Kara Lindsay, Kevin Massey, Arielle Jacobs, Adam Jacobs, Patti Mullin, Robert Clayton, Mandy Gonzales Reiss, L. Steven Tyler, Kissy Simmons, Josh Strickland, Ashley Brown and Michael James Scott.
