DLD and Jones Lang LaSalle launch “Commercial Real Estate Price Index”-Dubai Blog

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) and the world’s leading real estate consultant Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) launched the first “Dubai Commercial Real Estate Price Index” (CPPI) on Cityscape Global 2021.

The index was launched in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2020, launched by Majida Ali Rashid, CEO of DLD Real Estate Promotion and Investment Management, and Thierry Delvaux, CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle Middle East and Africa, and Turkey.

CPPI is the only commercial price index in Dubai and will serve as a reliable source of data for investors, institutions and institutions. In addition, it will allow investors to monitor commercial market performance when making investment decisions and portfolio management.

The index will be published quarterly in English and Arabic and will become a key benchmark for analyzing the performance of Dubai’s commercial real estate.

The Urban Landscape Global Summit and Exhibition will be held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (the site of the Expo 2020) from November 7th to 11th for a period of two days. The summit aims to reflect and address the three main sub-themes (opportunities, mobility and sustainability) of Expo 2020, with special attention to the Middle East and North Africa, especially the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt and Bahrain.
