DMCC, the flagship free zone and the Dubai Government Commodity Trade and Enterprise Authority, has wrapped up its “Made For Trade Live” events in Miami and New York in an effort to attract more US companies to the United Arab Emirates.
DMCC sees huge growth opportunities in the UAE-US trade corridor, which is worth $23 billion in 2021. DMCC is home to more than one-third of the approximately 1,500 U.S. businesses in the UAE.
Following the success of the two events in the United States, DMCC’s executive management team will continue to tour and travel to South America in the coming weeks to engage with the Brazilian business community.
Hosted two live events in America for Trade in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Dubai, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and Versailles Ventures. They saw 120 business leaders from Miami and New York briefed on Dubai’s business appeal and ease of doing business with DMCC, the world’s fastest growing and most connected free zone.
With Dubai firmly positioned as a global hub for financial services, cryptocurrencies and commodities trading, DMCC executives also highlighted the opportunities Dubai offers U.S. businesses in these key areas, according to a statement.

The DMCC has played an important role in strengthening the UAE’s trade and commercial relations with the United States and currently hosts more than 634 leading US companies that use the free zone as a hub for doing business with countries around the world.
DMCC’s Made for Trade Live series has played a key role in promoting Dubai as a leading destination for foreign direct investment (FDI). DMCC attracted a record 2,485 new companies into the free zone in 2021 and 1,469 new companies in the first half of 2022, bringing the total number of member companies to more than 21,000, ranging from large multinationals to SMEs and entrepreneurs. – arab trade news agency
