dolly parton will return as hosts for the second consecutive year Academy of Country Music Awards But this year she brought a new plus one to help – Garth Brooks.
The show is scheduled for May 11 and will stream live on Amazon Prime Video from The Star Ford Center in Frisco, Texas. A free replay of the ceremony and performance will be available on Amazon Freevee the next day.
This is the second year in a row that the show has been hosted by Parton, but marks the first time Brooks will be on stage to host the awards show.
“I’m so excited to host the ACM Awards again with my friend Garth,” Parton said in a statement. “While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with him over the years, I can’t believe we’ve never worked together. Opportunity.”
“Anyone with Dolly Parton makes a great couple,” Brooks added.
