ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – True to its name, the UAE’s first physical scratch card game, Dream Island, continues its mission to make more dreams come true as it officially launched on Saturday next to the iconic Royal Rose Hotel. Opened first city location, March 25, 2023. This marks the first time Dream Island will operate outside of Abu Dhabi Airport after opening its flagship store in Skypark Plaza in June 2022.
As part of the brand’s aim to meet the needs of the public and create a better experience, the Electra Street store is Dream Island’s second store opening in the Arrivals Hall of Abu Dhabi Airport’s Terminal 3. Dream Island scratch cards range in price from AED 2 to AED 50, with each tier offering a corresponding jackpot. The AED 50 ticket gives players the chance to win AED 1 million in cash.
A Dream Island representative said it was a big deal for the team because it “really echoes what Dream Island has always been trying to do, which is to make dreams more accessible. Opening in a place that’s accessible and has a dynamic vibe is totally Meaningful.” Electra Street is one of the busiest and most familiar streets in Abu Dhabi, showcasing the city’s vibrant local business scene and multicultural mix.
“At the end of the day, we want people to walk into a Dream Island store and walk out millionaires,” said Dream Island’s head of marketing. She added that more stores will be opened in the future and expansion in other emirates is the next step.
